- A marketing plan: Do you have a strategic marketing plan that outlines your goals and how you intend to reach them?
- Financial review: What are the estimated marketing and operating costs, potential revenues, and other start-up costs?
- Market review: What is the size of the market? Who are the competitors? Where do you intend to compete? How are you differentiating yourself? Barriers? etc.
- Performance metrics: Assign probability of achieving targets defined by the top metrics that are key to success (ie: required response rates, cost per new client). What methods do you have to track your results and to compare them to your plan?
- Resources: Do you have the required financial, human, and technological resources to create a strategic marketing plan and carry it out?
- Timing: Are your goals realistic compared to the allowable timeframe?
